New Delhi, April 2020: Jalandhar-based first generation printing plate bureau Sahil Processors has installed a Cron CTCP. The Cron UVP4664GI+ CTCP can expose printing plates from 250×250-mm to 940×1,160-mm at the maximum speed of up to 45-plates/hour (4-up). Supplied by Monotech Systems, the printing plate device was installed around two months ago.
Established in 1994, Sahil Processors exposes more than 400 printing plates in its 12-hours operation with a team of 10 people.
Anoop Kumar, proprietor, Sahil Processors, said, “We are running the business from last 25 years. Fast turnaround and economical prices are two keys in printing plates business. Thus CTCP printing plates fits in everyone’s budget. Being a printing plate bureau, we have to fulfil market’s demand. Thus, we again went for CTCP.”
Sahil supplies printing plates (415×520-mm to 820×1,030-mm) to commercial, books and packaging printers.
Kumar added that the company has never faced any quality related issue. He added that Monotech understands the needs of the market, especially a pre-press bureau like Sahil in terms of technology and financial feasibility.
Sahil has three CTCPs — HGDE, Basysprint and Cron, all supplied by Monotech Systems. Monotech Systems has installed over 800 CTP systems in India.
Anoop has hands-on experience of printing plates exposing of around four decades, includes more than a decade at Rachna Printers before started on his own.
Sahil supplies the printing plates to its customers in Punjab, Himachal and Rajasthan.
