Surat’s A Square Digital Press invests in RICOH PRO C9200 press for taking photo album printing to another level

New Delhi, January 31, 2023: Surat-based A Square Digital Press has invested in high-production digital presses — RICOH Pro C9200 — supplied by Monotech Systems, a leading machine manufacturer and one-stop solution provider for the printing and packaging industry. This investment has triggered the company’s overall competency in photo album printing, enhancing the quality of print and volume to another level.

Since its establishment in the year 2016, A Square Digital Press has garnered a reputation for being one of the most crowded commercial printing corners in Surat. A mainstay of the company’s business revolves around photo album printing. In this respect, Mr Anil Agola, Proprietor of A Square Digital Press, says the photo album printing market in India is vibrant and growing by leaps and bounds. “We are tapping this rapidly expanding market using our newly adopted highly advanced RICOH PRO C9200 digital production press from Monotech Systems,” he adds.

Installation of RICOH Pro C9200 colour production digital press has fuelled A Square Digital Press to print highly textured photos and many other possibilities in the production of premium-quality graphic images. RICOH Pro C9200 is compatible with a wide range of media types, which include metallic, super gloss, high-bulk media, etc. up to 470 gsm at the speed of 115 pages per minute (ppm).

Before the adoption of RICOH digital press, A Square Digital Press had invested in other digital presses like a couple of Konica Minolta AccurioPress C6100. “We have used the Konica Minolta presses for some time in the printing and production of photo albums. However, we had some technologies intricacies in terms of print quality and colour enhancement, which we resolve now with the newly adopted RICOH press from Monotech Systems,” asserts Mr Agola.

He adds, “Apart from the highly textured and sharp graphic prints, our new RICOH digital press is perfectly designed for increasing print volume with speed and reliability. We are now fully empowered to take on more high-volume works to increase our overall production volume with this cut-sheet digital press.” This digital press is capable to take up 470 gsm media for the production of graphic images in a resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi which is the industry’s highest.
