Noida’s Color 8 Company gets RICOH for label printing

New Delhi, August 1, 2024: Greater Noida (Delhi-NCR)-based Color 8 Company is making great strides forward in label printing with novel ideas and a brand new machine. The brand new machine that has taken the company’s label printing to a whole new level is a RICOH Pro C7500, an advanced & highly flexible digital production press with 5^th Color Station, supplied and installed by Monotech Systems—a leading machine manufacturer and one-stop solution provider for the printing & packaging industry globally.

Upgraded from its predecessor RICOH Pro C7200x and launched it in India by Monotech Systems last year, RICOH Pro C7500 is an epitome of 11-colour printing encompassing traditional CMYK and 5^th Color Station toners for white toner, gold, silver, neon pink, neon yellow, clear, and invisible red for adding extra effects and elements to prints. “Addition of this flexible digital production press to our facility has empowered us to benchmark new quality and innovation in label printing,” says Mr Mayank Singh, Proprietor of Color 8 Company.

He adds, “Our production facility is equipped with a complete portfolio of machines, comprising a 4-colour Flexo roll label printing press, Xerox Versant 180 digital production press and a string of finishing equipment including cutting plotter and others. However, we have gained a new approach to adding captivating textures and effects to label prints using the 5^th Color Station of RICOH Pro C7500. For example, we now deliver bespoke effects of PET clear in labels using this digital press.”

RICOH Pro C7500’s 5^th Color Station is designed to unearth a whole new level of custom-created effects of special colours. In addition, this new RICOH digital colour production press is capable to operate at the speed of 85ppm, upgradable to 95ppm (pages per minute), delivering prints in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400×4800dpi, compatibly on varied media ranging from 40gsm to 470gsm, suitably for the need of Color 8 Company to produce out-of-the-box label graphics.

Since its inception in the year 2018, Color 8 Company has been predominantly into label printing. They work for a number of reputed brands from the diverse market segments. “Label is our mainstay in business. Around 90 percent of our overall activities involve in label printing and little bit of commercial and others,” tells Mr Singh, adding that the label printing market is prone to innovative ideas that would never turn into products without the capable machines like the RICOH Pro C7500.
