The new RICOH colour production press at IM Print Hub is supplied and installed by Monotech Systems, a leading machine manufacturer & one-stop solution provider for the printing and packaging industry globally.

Situated at Pataudi House in Daryaganj in Delhi, IM Print Hub is an offshoot of its parent company Shobi Offset Press, an old and eminent offset player known widely for book and magazine printing. In this, Mr Shoaib Khan, Proprietor, IM Print Hub, narrates, “My father Late Abbas Ahmed Khan started Shobi Offset Press in the year 1984 primarily engaging in book and magazine printing and other related tasks like binding, lamination, so on. Two popular magazines, Aiwan-e-Urdu and Bachchon Ka Mahnama Umang of Urdu Academy in Delhi, were printed at Shobi Offset Press.”

Mr Khan continues, “We have a production setup equipped with a range of diverse presses, comprising both offset and web offset, among which is a Komori full CPC machine. Now, the trends and traditions in the printing industry have changed a lot as new revolution in innovative printing has set pace with newer on-demand premium print applications in the market. So, we have purchased the new RICOH Pro C7200 from Monotech Systems to kick-start a journey into this innovative world of digital printing.”

RICOH Pro C7200 is designed to deliver high-quality prints with a resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi, produced on wider range of stocks, whether light or heavyweight, up to 360 gsm. With advanced features like banner sheet duplex printing mode, this digital production cut-sheet press can print at the speed of 85 ppm (pages per minute).
