KODAK ACHIEVE T400/T800 Platesetters are robust and reliable CTP devices that deliver the stability of Kodak’s thermal imaging technology at a surprisingly low cost. They are based on the successful KODAK TRENDSETTER Platesetter platform and are available with a variety of automation and speed options.

T400 T800
Throughput at 2400 dpi for plate size 724 x 838 mm:

  • S speed = 22 plates per hour
  • F speed = 28 plates per hour
Throughput at 2400 dpi for plate size 1,030 x 800 mm:

  • S speed = 16 plates per hour
  • F speed = 22 plates per hour

New Multi-Cassette Unit Option!

Now the ACHIEVE T400/T800 Platesetter has another automation option to help you grow your business. The new MCU offers automated plate loading and unloading of up to 480 plates, and you can have up to 4 different plate sizes online for improved efficiency and productivity.

5 Standard plate gauge is 0.15 to 0.3 mm (0.006 to 0.012 in). Option available for plate gauge of 0.15 to 0.4 mm (0.006 to 0.016 in). The 0.40 mm plate size is only supported for the “SA” manual device, or in manual bypass for the AU, AL, SCU and MCU. For plate gauges 0.15 to 0.2 mm (0.006 to 0.08 in) there may be some differences in min and max. plate sizes. For more information, please consult your Kodak representative.

6 Minimum plate size around drum is 383 mm with the plate rotation option, and minimum plate size for manual bypass is 305 x 215 mm.

The platesetter is a Class 1 Laser Product and fully complies with EN60825-1 and US Federal Regulations 21 CFR 1040.10 – CDRH.

G+ Series Newspaper and Dual-purpose Specifications

 

CRON newspaper CTP is a classic in the field of high speed plate making. The maximum speed of 88 plates /hour allows Newspaper to meet their deadlines while still being able to achieve the quality and stability expected from a CTP.
CRON Newspaper and Dual-Purpose CTPs are able to meet the quality requirement of both Newspaper and Commercial applications which is a number one consideration for Newspapers with Commercial requirements or Newspaper who print magazines and inserts.
Automatic plate’s loader is optional for no manual feeding.
Built-in punching function supports at most 3 sets of puncher dies installation.
(The gap between each puncher unit should be no less than 100mm)
Optional external online punching bridge improves punching accuracy and productive efficiency.
