The high-accuracy, long-life eRC Series has evolved and made its way into the SC Series of automatic paper cutting machines. In the pursuit of usefulness and safety, new functions are added. The simplicity and efficiency of maintenance are also improved. With full network connectivity, these programmable paper cutting machines ensure future use. This new model incorporates all of ITOTEC’s technology and ideas for mastering every detail in the paper cutting job field.

Major new functions

A safety beam guard is installed outside at both ends.
The sensor reaction area has been expanded for safer maintenance services, such as knife replacement. Similarly to the previous model, the device’s location can be changed to inside.
Connect a USB memory or the like to input or output data.
Next to the monitor, a USB port has been installed. Loaded PDF files, such as the instruction manual, can be displayed on the monitor with additional optional equipment.
The knife speed and maximum backgauge advance speed are improved.
In a time comparison experiment, the cutting speed was faster than the previous model, demonstrating a time savings effect.

Features

The touch panel is large and easy to see. The maximum clamping pressure has been increased. During pedal operation, the phototube-assisted clamp ascent safety function is activated. The internal access window’s cover has been changed to a gate style. The pedal high-pressure function is included as standard. Clamp that is soft. A window for waste removal has been installed. The operation button has a key top, which increases durability. The dent at the bottom of the main body is removed, which increases stability.

The touch panel is easy to observe and large. The maximum clamp pressure is increased.
The size has increased from 8.4” to 10” The cutting accuracy of boards and vinyl materials is improved.
The phototube-assisted clamp ascent safety function is activated during pedal operation. The cover of the internal access window is changed to the gate type.
Accidents caused by unintentional clamp descent are prevented. (A choice of activation ON/OFF is available.) It can be opened and closed using only one hand. This modification has simplified the process of repositioning the detached lid, making knife height adjustments and the like easier. A phototube sensor activates an interlock when work is done with the cover open. (In the case of an outer phototube specification that is standard)
The pedal high-pressure function is installed as a standard feature. The soft clamp method.
ON/OFF selection can be made. As a standard feature, the soft clamp method is used, in which the clamp pressure applied upon pressing the clamp pedal is reduced to a low pressure.
A window for waste removal has been installed.
The operation button has a key top, which increases durability.
Paper waste that has fallen inside the paper cutting machine can be quickly removed. The size has been increased to make pressing easier.
The dent at the bottom of the main body is removed, which increases stability.

TFT 10″ colour LCD touch panel that is visible and bright. Because 10 pages are displayed at a time (centre hold type scroll), course contents can be easily checked, which helps to reduce entry errors. The language selection function allows you to choose between Japanese, English, Chinese (traditional or simplified), Thai, Dutch, Spanish, and German. The operation can be carried out in your native language.

The control panel, which is located at the heart of the SC Series paper cutting machine, is only programmed with functions required to operate the programmable paper cutting machine. Because there are no unnecessary loads, the programmable paper cutter starts immediately after powering on, allowing work to begin immediately.

The screen size is increased.

Outside the screen, an auxiliary window is kept.
The screen can be called up instantly when needed, but it is hidden when the regular screen is in use.

New Function

Size agreement detection function

If the stored data does not match the backgauge size, this function disables paper cutting. Depending on the work, the setting can be changed so that cutting is performed within a preset range or cutting is performed only upon complete match.

Course list view and detail settings

The number panel with 100 courses at a time displays information about the vacant or occupied course. On the number panel, the course can be moved or copied. Make a note of the job title or memo for each course to perform an AND search and examine the job details in the course details view.

Setting direction window

The animation clearly shows the work setting procedure as well as the direction of paper rotation.

Print deviation correction function

The deviation of the press sheet from the stored cutting data is corrected using this function. Cut according to register marks even if the actual press sheet is dislocated. The deviation from the stored data is calculated automatically, and the offset is saved. There is no need to re-enter the offset.

Automatic knife timing variation function

The paper that is pressed against the clamp is automatically judged. Even if the paper is stacked high or pressed with pedal operation, the knife is driven immediately. It is possible to shorten the time required for a cutting cycle.

Clamp pressure setting

On the display, you can enter the clamp pressure setting. The pressure is entered numerically in 1KN increments from 2KN to 45KN, removing variation in the pressure setting. In addition to presetting in 5KN increments, pressure can be preset in each course or page. The pressure can be optimally defined based on the cut item’s or cutting position’s characteristics, eliminating waste paper caused by pressure error. The entire cutting process is supported.

Alarm record function

The failure description in the alarm view is saved along with the date, time, and message. This memory comes in handy when doing maintenance.

Message window/alarm function

An icon indicates when the knife or oil should be replaced. The automatic paper cutting machine’s current state is visible.
