Tirupur’s Yaanji DigiTech boosts print volume & quality with RICOH

New Delhi, June 15, 2023: Being in the Knitwear Capital of India, i.e. Tirupur, Yaanji DigiTech has a strong client base predominantly consisting of garment manufacturers, importers and exporters. The company offers its customers high-quality prints for different applications such as tags, fliers, catalogues, etc. To meet the client’s demands for increased print volume & quality, Yaanji DigiTech has invested in a RICOH Pro C7200X, supplied and installed by Monotech Systems, a leading machine manufacturer & one-stop solution provider for the printing and packaging industry globally.

When it comes to its establishment, Yaanji DigiTech is quite a young commercial printing company in Tirupur, run by a young entrepreneur. Mr Rob Starc, Managing Director of Yaanji Digi Tech, is just 25 years old. “Of course, I’m young and my company is young as it’s barely one-and-a-half years old in the market. However, we are so fortunate to say that over this short span of our establishment, we have achieved a lot. So far, we have roped in more than 200 garment companies in our client list,” he says.

He continues, “Like Surat, Tirupur is a huge garment hub, particularly for knit wears, contributing around 90 per cent to the country’s total knitwear exports. Seeing the emerging business prospect in the sector to serve these garment companies with their print requirement we kick-started business with our first investment in a Konica Minolta AccurioPress, which is running now in our production facility.”

As the client base of Yaanji DigiTech had increased manifold over the last few months, Mr. Starc says they badly needed to add another digital production press to their production setup. “So, we rushed to Monotech Systems where we found the right machine for the right job—RICOH Pro C7200X, which is indeed a highly advanced and versatile machine with production speed, quality in prints and expanded colour gamut,” he adds.

Certainly, the RICOH Pro C7200X Graphic Arts Edition colour digital production press is engineered robustly to run for delivering premium prints at the speed of 85 pages per minute (ppm) offering the industry-leading resolution of 2400×4800 dpi. It can take up a broad range of diverse stocks up to 360 gsm. Moreover, this digital production press has certain advanced features like a ‘fifth toner station’ for using special colours like ‘white’ metallic, neon, clear and other invisible ink options.

Products which Yaanji DigiTech delivers for their clients normally include tags, catalogues, fliers, promotional posters and many others as per the custom needs of the garment companies. Mr Starc says, “Demands for higher volume and quality in prints from our clients keep increasing and they tend to produce two lakh sheets a day. In this, running a single machine could never meet the requirement, so we have added the new RICOH Pro C7200X to our production facility which is robust and productive.
